Protostar: Error in Transmission - New Web Novel Published!

Well here I go again! I just finished Rave Girl: Change My Mind, and I've already started on a new sci-fi / fantasy web novel, Protostar: Error in Transmission.

This is my first foray into this arena, but I'm hoping it'll have some benefits. First off, this book is currently free to read! So click the link above or the book cover below, and have at it. Second, this book is incomplete. Only chapter one is done, and I'll upload the rest as soon as I'm done writing each one. I'm aiming for a chapter a week... we'll see how that goes, but I should be able to pull it off.

Anywho, below is the description. I think this'll be a fantastic story and merges the worlds of science fiction and fantasy, in a hopefully fun and entertaining way. Enjoy!

*****

Captain Kane St. James never expected his post-service life to be as exciting and outlandish as this.

Leading the IFS Protostar, a retrofitted frigate now scout vessel, St. James and his crew of five would commonly be sent on missions deemed low-priority by the Interplanetary Federation. In other words, boring, low-profit missions that no one else wanted.

Well, the Protostar's next mission would be anything but boring, taking them on an investigative role to a dead world from which peculiar signals emanated, and where another ship had recently disappeared.

Upon their arrival, they would encounter an alien megastructure in orbit around the world, but before they could learn anything about it, they end up on the planet's surface over two millions years in the past.

And the planet is no longer a dead realm, but is instead teeming with life. And not just any life, but a developing civilization with many who can wield the power of magic. Conjurers. Sorcerers. Witches and wizards. Mages and spirits. Even great beasts only thought to exist in fantasy. How could any of this be real?

Find out by following the crew's journey in this mysterious new land. Story contains explicit language, violence, and sexual content. Recommended for ages 16 and up.
